Rare Earth Gallery features over 60 local and regional artists. Our collection of unique, handmade crafts is continually rotated to reflect their latest work. We have been offering fine art to the community for 35 years. We specialize in fine crafts in blown glass, wood, art, jewelry, photography and pottery (made on the premises by our two potters). We are located in the center of Historic Downtown Stuart at 41 SW Flagler Avenue.
Gallery Hours are:
Season (November – April) Monday – Saturday, 10am – 6pm, Sunday 12 Noon – 5pm. Summer (May – October) Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm; Saturday, 10am – 6pm; Sunday, Closed.
Special Events hours: Stuart Stroll, 5pm – 9pm, First Thursdays Gallery Night (Season) 5pm – 8pm, Weekend Craft Shows (year-round), Sundays, 10am – 5pm.

The Stuart Heritage Museum is dedicated to the early pioneers, telling their story of growing pineapples and of harvesting fish, life during the good years, the “boom” years and the difficult depression years. Enjoy Stuart and Martin County artifacts in the historic building that has survived over 108 years of the growth and change in one small town – Stuart, Florida.

Stuart Heritage, Inc. was formed in 1988 to rediscover and memorialize the history and architecture of the Stuart and Martin County area through the preservation of artifacts, writings, newspapers, photographs, journals, maps, blueprints and the like, and to make available to the public the history of our pioneering, founding families and their unique heritage.

Join us for a sail on the historic, wooden schooner “Lily”. She was the last vessel of her kind to haul cargo under sail in the US. Sail the St. Lucie River and enjoy morning wildlife, brisker afternoon winds, or a romantic sunset trip. Trips are about two hours in length. Interact with the captain, help raise the sails, fire the cannon, and enjoy music played by the crew. The Lily is also a great venue for weddings, parties, and business charters. She is US Coast Guard certified for forty-two passengers. Give us a call for reservations or questions. Sails depart three times daily from downtown Stuart. Please call for times. 772.267.7076 Pricing: $30/Adult and $15/Child. Passengers may bring food/drink in moderation.

The Arts Council of Martin County, a 501(c)3 organization, has been a leader in the arts community since 1980. The arts and culture programs we support inspire creativity, learning, strengthen the fabric of our community ultimately benefiting all of us. We provide services and programs to visual and performing artists, arts organizations, students and the general public. Arts education, such as Arts Day and Cultural Conversations, Community events such as our annual ArtsFest in Memorial Park, our Gallery at the Court House Cultural Center in downtown Stuart, our support to local Cultural Organizations and Artists, including professional development for artists and cultural organizations and serving as a clearinghouse for cultural information county-wide via our family of MartinArts publications (on-line and in print).
